National Karate for Teenagers (Ages 13-17)

National Karate for Teenagers (Ages 13-17)

About the program

Teenagers will find NK martial arts to be physically and mentally challenging. While many teens spend their time playing video games or spending hours on the couch watching tv, NK students are involved in a training program that is safe yet very vigorous. Skills and lessons learned during these years are positive and will stay with the students for the rest of their lives. Many NK black belt holders pursue martial arts training for decades.

Benefits

Teens are in classes with other youth who are motivated and striving to achieve high standards and concrete goals. NK offers a clear and healthy alternative to many of the negative peer pressures that teens face every day. NK training is goal oriented. Students are rewarded for true effort. Physical talent is less important than effort. Each student is expected to reach his or her own personal potential. NK martial arts is an excellent cross-training program that will enhance other sports.
