About the Program

The boys and girls in our Youth Program learn to be accomplished martial artists — strong, confident and skilled. As they earn higher belt ranks, the curriculum challenges them physically and helps develop their powers of concentration, but most importantly, it develops their leadership skills. Martial arts training is a safe and effective way for youth to stay strong, flexible and fit. Students who reach higher belt levels don't have problems with bullies — and they don't become bullies.

Benefits

National Karate training emphasizes positive behavior, respect for others and personal responsibility. Children can become highly skilled martial artists and many earn the black belt rank and higher. Belt rank must be earned — it is not handed out. True self-esteem comes from real accomplishment. Training develops self-confidence, improves physical fitness and helps students find more success in school. National Karate students are leaders. They learn perseverance, and they do not give up easily.
